Class: Applique Elements Class 1 (Hand Applique)
This class teaches the basics of fusible applique, buttonhole stitch, stem stitch, ladder stitch, and how
to “birth” a quilt instead of using binding to finish off. Joy will bring kits of felt for purchase and use in
appliqueing one of her Fall Designs.
Participants will need to only bring the following items for class: $12.00 cash for the kit, Scissors (both for cutting paper and fabric), Thimble and/or Needle Threader if desired.
Your Kit will include: Handout, Chenille Needle, Valdani Perle Cotton, Millner, Quilting Thread, Fabric Circles, Fabric Tube, Bamboo Felt, Freezer Paper, Pencil
