 Applique Club

Club Description:

Appliqué-ers work on their own and/or a group project. It is a time for sharing of techniques and the latest notions to help make applique easier.  This is a great opportunity for tutorial help from our own appliqué diva, Dottie Moreland!

 

 

Second Tuesday Book Club

Club Description:  

Read and Discuss varied books, which are suggested by the club members.  You do not have to belong to the CQG to join.  All are welcome.  We usually meet for dinner at 5 pm, then go to the Grove Library to talk about the book that was read, though we don’t all read the book. This is open to anyone interested. Please let us know so we can send you the book list and restaurant details.  And no, you do not need to join the group for the meal if you don’t want to.  We meet at 6:30.

 

K.I.S.S.  Keep It Sew Simple

Club Description:

K.I.S.S. Is a gathering held in the Gettysburg area at a group member’s home for friendship, sharing, and to work on individual projects.  Attendees are welcome to share techniques and skills.  Everyone brings their own project.  Get togethers are usually held the third Wednesday of the month, January through October from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.

 

 

 Grandmother’s Flower Garden Group

Club Description:  

Working on the quilt pattern, Grandmother’s Flower Garden.  Members are also working on various other projects also.  Great place to get with others who are working on like projects.  Do not need to be a Guild member.

 

 

Quilt Bee

Meeting Day/Time: Fourth Monday, 9:30AM-2:00PM

Club Description:  

Quilt Bees are gatherings meeting in guild member’s home for friendship, sharing, and to work on individual projects.  Everyone brings their own project or they can work together to complete a community project. Daytime bees are held the fourth Monday of each month from 9:30am to 2:00pm. Each member brings her own brown bag lunch and the hostess provides dessert and a beverage. Evening bees are scheduled according to interest. Every guild member is invited to attend.

Club Description:  

The mission of the Quilts of Valor Foundation is to cover service members and veterans touched by war with comforting and healing Quilts of Valor.

This is a meeting of the Local Chapter of Quilts of Valor Foundation.  Everyone is invited to bring your sewing machine and sew QOV Quilts for our service men.
